All in a days work...

Making Christmas cards in the shop today.
Started with some small cut pieces of Fabriano cold pressed watercolour paper and sketched in some images.
Then i used my fab Caran D'Ache water soluble crayons and coloured them in...
i wanted nice bright colours
my aquabrush to paint over the crayon

Defining the outlines with black pen

White dots representing snow
Distress Inks to age the image

Then my favourite bit, putting on a bit of bling
and...don't forget to sign
(well they are small pieces of art)
glue onto card, write "Merry Christmas"

Bag them up.....
Voila
....and put out for sale in your shop!
In my last post when i mentioned making hair slides out of the beautiful fabric covered wood shapes of birds and butterflies?  Well...here they are!

...and placed on card, with labels for my new shop "Sugar and Spice"...i decided to keep the label simple in the end.

So...that's mainly what i did today, besides serving customers, putting out new stock, and checking everything had prices on them.
